Mission Modifiers (Affixes) & Reward Multipliers

Before launching a mission, you can insert up to 3 Skull Modifiers at the War Table. Each skull increases enemy difficulty while multiplying Gold yield and unlocking higher rarity gear drop pools.

Tier 1 Affix

Blood Moon Surge

Effect: Enemies gain +35% Max HP and +15% movement speed.
Multiplier: +50% Gold yield; unlocks Tier 2 Refined weapons.
Counter: Use heavy poise-break Weapon Arts to cancel aggressive charging swings.

Tier 2 Affix

Abyssal Fog

Effect: Mini-map is disabled; all enemy attacks apply stacking Bleed.
Multiplier: +120% Gold yield; +50% Soul gain from elite kills.
Counter: Equip Alchemist Mirena's Purified Flask to cleanse bleed stacks instantly.

Tier 3 Affix

Dead God's Curse

Effect: Bosses summon 2 corrupted elite champions during Phase 2 transitions.
Multiplier: +250% Gold; guarantees at least 1 Purified Relic drop.
Counter: Save Sunder Form transformation exclusively for the add phase.

Farming Strategy: The 2-Skull Sweet Spot

For optimal progression speed, combine Blood Moon Surge with Abyssal Fog. This provides a +170% Gold multiplier with manageable environmental hazards, allowing you to fully upgrade Church NPCs within 6 to 8 successful extractions.
